    My research interests are in various areas of [high performance] scientific computing, applied mathematics, and visualization. I enjoy working closely with application scientists, helping them solve interesting problems which are hopefully benefiting society in some way. I also enjoy educational outreach activities aimed at K-12 students that involve science and mathematics.
