The
Saturday Science QUEST program is a series of hands-on experiences
designed to provide interesting and exciting opportunities in
science for the elementary and the middle school students in Monroe
and Brown Counties.
The
students meet at the School
of Education
on six consecutive Saturday mornings for the particular session.
Each fall and spring semester, a variety of different courses
are taught by graduate students (former classroom teachers) in
the science education Ph.D. program. They are assisted by preservice elementary
teachers who are learning to teach science.
Registration
fees apply, however a limited number of scholarships are offered
each semester. Enrollment is offered on a first-come, first-served
basis, and courses tend to fill quickly.
Please follow the links in the left sidebar to find out
more about past and present courses, as well as registration.
