Program Director: Dr. Valarie Akerson

Dr. Akerson directs the overall program, working with the University to oversee finances and ensure that Saturday Science continues to exist!

Program Coordinator: Huseyin Colak

Hasan is responsible for the planning and organization of the courses each semester, as well as publicity and volunteer recruitment. Questions about the courses, schedule, or general program information can be directed to Huseyin at 856-8117.

Department Secretary: Sara Sturgeon

Sara handles all of our Saturday Science registration for courses. You can find her during business hours in the Science Education Office, Room 3002 of the Education Building. Questions about tuition, enrollment, and registration materials should be directed to Sara at 856-8129.

Saturday Science Acting Principal: Huseyin Colak

Our Saturday Science Acting Principal is on duty in office 3111 during program hours in case of emergencies. If you need to contact your child or get in touch with program staff, please call 856-8117.
