Welcome to my online teaching portfolio and website. Please feel free to explore the links on the left to read more about my teaching philosophy and experience as an Associate Instructor of French at Indiana University.

Teaching is my greatest passion, but not my only one. I am also a PhD student in French Linguistics and Second Language Studies, and I enjoy discovering more about the language learning process through my coursework and research. I am currently working towards a dissertation in second language phonology, focusing on how speech perception can affect acquisition of foreign language sounds and words.

Outside of school and teaching, my biggest hobby is distance running. I also love travel, cooking, and spending time with my husband and our two kitties. Depending on the time of year, we spend our weekends watching Clemson football, Formula One racing, and Food Network.
