My given name is Tuyen, and my surname is Truong. My name in Vietnamese  is Truong Trung Tuyen. I am a graduate student in Indiana University Bloomington. My advisor is Professor Eric Bedford.

Current interest:

  1. Complex Dynamics/Geometry/Variables:

-Properties of meromorphic maps of compact Kahler manifolds.

-The growth of pluri-subharmonic functions and analytic functions.

-Complex structures.

  1. Number Theory: Before I went to undergraduate school I very like algebra and number theory. However I had no chance to study these subjects at the time. So now I am trying to learn some. I am still in the process of learning. The latter statement is true forever.

-Langlands correspondence, Rieman zeta function, K-theory of Z.

My favorite sayings: There is no way leading to happiness. Happiness is the way. (The Buddha) If there is just only you on the way, let you walk alone. (The Buddha)

Mathematicians I admire: Abel, Galois, and Perelman. I like their manner, their patience, and struggle.

What I think about mathematics? Mathematics is difficult. The most difficult things are to keep passion in mathematics and to find some meaningful problems to work on. Also difficult is to balance between mathematics and other aspects of life. Whatever, to be living is too good a reason.

_Summer Meeting: I am one of organizers of Summer Meeting. This is an annually meeting at my university in Viet Nam: VNU at HCM City, beginning 2008.  We welcome any person to give a talk in that meeting, on any topic that you like. You may present either about your own results in mathematics or surveys, or about how to learn English, or how to apply to a good university, and so on. If you want to give a talk, just email me at truongt@indiana.edu or any of other organizers (see the link).
