Vijay Khatri is an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Department of Operations and Decision Technologies at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. He earned his PhD from the University of Arizona.

Although Vijay Khatri has primarily focused on teaching in the area of Data Management, he has taught a range of courses at the undergraduate, graduate and doctoral levels.
At the undergraduate level, in addition to data management course (S307), he has taught courses related to data communications and basic operations management. At the graduate (MBA and MSIS) level, he has taught a variety of courses. These include Managing and Designing Database Systems (S520), Designing and Managing Organizational Data Assets (S523), and Mobile Technologies (S535). At the doctoral level, he has taught a research seminar, Technology Issues in Information Systems Research (S601).
